About Me

To understand why I do what I do, I'd ask you to read 'My Story' below. However, first I'd like to tell you what's happened lately: In 2023, I expanded my services to include Senior Companionship, offering compassionate one-on-one, hourly support tailored to brighten and enhance daily life.

My current services include:

  • Providing friendly companionship to combat loneliness.

  • Assistance with transportation, errands, and shopping.

  • Support during doctor appointments.

  • Encouragement and guidance with at-home chair exercises to maintain muscle activity.

  • Engaging in mental exercises to promote cognitive well-being.

While I focus exclusively on non-medical activities (no bathing, dressing, or personal care), my goal is to be a positive presence, bringing light and joy to each day.

My Story

I am the mother of three wonderful adult children. They have helped me grow daily, and continue to make me aware of the wonderful gift of family with all its challenges and surprises. They provide me with life's ultimate emotions, and reveal to me that family, forgiveness, and love are our greatest gifts from God.

I have survived just about every tragedy life could throw my way, and am still standing on my two feet with a smile on my face. It’s all about my attitude and God’s grace. Life-long education, an attitude of gratitude, and perseverance all work together to make me who I am. I would like to share my strength and hope with you.

Since the 1990’s, I served as a facilitator at Hearts and Hope, a non-profit organization working with children between the ages of 3 and 17, in the role of helping vulnerable children process and cope with the death of a close family member or relative. I then went on to serve as a tutor at Place of Hope, a unique, faith-based, state-licensed child welfare organization.

In the spring of 2014, I began working with a non-profit organization called The Children's Healing Institute, helping children process their grief. As a grief facilitator in the Bridging Hope program I offer peer and family group support facilitation. Listening and counseling are skills I have developed through the years.

As a volunteer, I was inspired to return to academia after a 35 year absence. I attended Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA), and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Christian Ministry.

One of my most rewarding recent experiences was working with Seniors at Brookdale Senior Living, as Director of Resident Services, connecting in a personal way with over 300 residents. It was gratifying, helping them to identify appropriate resources to maintain their individual highest level of independence and satisfaction, including problem solving, as well as develop activities that enhance their physical, social, and emotional needs. I helped the residents through the trying years of COVID-19, and continue to be available to help them whenever they call.

With training and certification as a Professional Life Coach culminating in March 2015, I have now spent nearly 10 years as a life coach partner, working alongside seniors, to help them achieve their full potential. Setting and encouraging goals for empowerment and strength requires work, commitment and understanding. By empowering my clients, they are encouraged to live their lives with perseverance, meaning, integrity and purpose. They focus on positive solutions and display an attitude of thankfulness and gratitude for their self-reliance.

Since 2015, I have opened my doors, via iPhone, and FaceTime, as a Professional Life Coach in Palm Beach County for clients, specifically seniors, who want to expand life’s possibilities and enjoy a positive mental attitude. You can call me at: 561-309-7042.
